There have released the finalists of the 2009 FAD Award, the 51th edition. 27 works that have reached the final, of which 14 are in the category of Architecture, 6 in Interior Design, 3 in City and Landscape, and finally 4 on ephemeral.
In total, 522 works were submitted, of which 262 came from Catalonia, 235 from the rest of Spain and only 25 from Portugal. By category, corresponding to 315 works of Architecture, 96 of Interior, 45 of City and Landscape, and 66 fo ephemeral interventions.

The selected works in the City and Landscape category are:
- Espacios exteriors Monumental of Churches Sant Pere Terrassa (Barcelona) Pere Riera Pañella, Josep Sotorres Escartín, Montserrat Batlle Salvanés and Barto Busom Masjoan and RGA Arquitectes.
- Water Park, Zaragoza, Margarita Jover and Iñaki Alday (of aldayjover arquitectura y paisaje), and Christine Dalnoky (de l'Atelier de Paysage).
- Integrating landscape of Tram Line 1 from passing through the Serra Grossa Alicante, José María Urzelai and Eduardo de Miguel (from Urzelai & De Miguel).
