The Water Park, Park of Zuera and Park of Aranzadi - FLOODED!!

The recent storm of snow and rain in the North of Spain has increased the flow of river Ebro’s basin to levels similar to those happened in March 2007 and higher than in June 2008 (photo).

As a result, lands near river and its tributaries have been flooded, including the Water Park (Ebro-Zaragoza), Gállego Riverside Recovery (Zuera) and Aranzadi’s Park (Arga-Pamplona under construction) designed by aldayjover architecture and landscape.

Because these Parks were thought in coexistence with the River, accepting and dialoguing with its dynamics, they not only have not suffered significant damage, but rather through their assigned spaces in case of flood to the lamination of water (the Soto of the Water Park, Zuera’s Bullfighting Ring and Aranzadi's Flood Forest) have helped to minimize it in their immediate environment.
