The teams selected for the second phase are in category A, aldayjover arquitectura y paisaje, Martinez Lapeña-Torres Arquitectos, Xavier Irigoyen and Manuel Ruisánchez Greccat Architects, and in category B, Anna-Sara Renaud Bartumeus Arquitectos and Agronomia Arquitectura.
The competition for the management of the area of cultural, educational and sporting facilities of Can Xarau and the urbanization of the park, in Cerdanyola del Vallès, called by the consistory, concerns about a triangular space plan area of about 49,700 m2, with a features heavily influenced by three factors: its topography, the contact with the river, and the pressure exerted by the road and the urban net that confines it.
